The team of scouts from the People's Republic of China at the end of the IV stage at the International competition 'Army Scout Masters-2020' showed the highest result in individual shooting from standard weapons, as well as in throwing sapper shovels and knives.
Over the course of two days, participants demonstrated their shooting skills with weapons such as the Kalashnikov assault rifle (AK-74), Kalashnikov hand machine gun (PKK-74), Makarov pistol (PM), Dragunov sniper rifle (SVD) and hand grenade launcher (RPG). The scouts had to hit targets from a distance of 15 to 600 m, depending on the type of weapon. Shooting was done for a time, participants could get additional points for saved ammunition. In addition, the soldiers competed in skills of throwing sapper shovels and knives from distances of 4, 6 and 8 meters.
The second and third results in the individual shooting were demonstrated by military personnel from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the IV stage, participants of the competition will also have to perform shooting from regular small arms as part of reconnaissance groups.
The contest 'Army Scout Masters' runs from 23 August to 5 September on the basis of NVVKU. Eight teams from Russia, China, South Ossetia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Laos, and the Congo take part in the competition in full, as well as two single teams from the Republic of South Africa and Afghanistan, each consisting of one person.
