The MD|DC Credit Union Association and CUNA invite credit unions to register for the 2020 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference, being held in Washington, D.C. February 23-27, 2020.

'CUNA GAC represents what the movement is all about: advocacy, 'said Todd Spiczenski, chief products and services officer at CUNA. 'This is our opportunity to unite in telling the credit union difference story and inspire engagement in advocacy year-round.'

CUNA GAC offers an action-packed schedule, including keynote and breakout sessions from renowned speakers, an expansive exhibit hall and numerous networking opportunities.

The MD|DC Credit Union Association will be organizing Hike the Hill meetings with legislators, providing credit union professionals with the opportunity to share how credit unions make everyday life better for 115 million American members. The Association will also be hosting a Advocacy Luncheon during GAC. Look for more details to come.

'Bringing together thousands of credit union leaders from across the country amplifies our advocacy impact,' said MD|DC Credit Union Association president and CEO John Bratsakis. 'This is an opportunity to continue to educate our congressional delegation on the how legislation directly affects credit union members and to keep the conversation going about one-size-fits-all regulations.'

Credit union professionals under the age of 35 will again have the opportunity to attend CUNA GAC on scholarship facilitated by The Cooperative Trust. Applications will be accepted beginning in October. Check back here for more information.
