Michelin North America Voluntarily Recalls 184 Motorcycle Tires

GREENVILLE, S.C., Sept. 13, 2017- Michelin North America, Inc., announced today a voluntary recall beginning Sept. 25, 2017 for 184 motorcycle tires, MICHELIN Pilot Power 3 in size 180/55ZR17 M/C (73W), because the tires do not have certain load and pressure specifications on the sidewall as required by regulation.

Michelin voluntarily reported to NHTSA the noncompliance of these tires in August 2016. The tires subject to the recall were manufactured between April 17 and May 7, 2016, and comply with all Department of Transportation performance requirements.
