Washington, D.C. - Today, House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul released the following statement after two bills he introduced were successfully adopted by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

"I commend my Senate colleagues for moving these important bills forward. My Stop Iranian Drones Act will clarify that U.S. sanctions on Iran include the supply, sale or transfer to or from Iran of unmanned combat aerial vehicles. Iran remains a destabilizing regime and we must make every effort to prevent them from spreading terror in the region. The Ukraine Invasion War Crimes Deterrence and Accountability Act will ensure the United States is doing all it can to help the people of Ukraine gather, analyze, and maintain evidence of war crimes, and put Russian troops on notice that the world is watching and taking names. I urge the full Senate to pass both bills and send them to the president's desk for his immediate signature."
