Statesmen Congratulate Veterans of Great Patriotic War

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan, together with the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, the members of the Government, the deputies of the Civil Contract Faction, laid flowers at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, paying tribute to the memory of the victims. The statesmen congratulated the veterans of the Great Patriotic War present in the Victory Park.

The participation of more than half a million Armenians in the Great Patriotic War was of great importance on the way to victory. Legendary commanders and about 300.000 Armenians who accomplished many feats, fell selflessly on the battlefield.

107 Armenians were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

Eternal glory and reverence. No one has been forgotten, nothing has been forgotten.
