Interpipe mastered LD pipes production for machinery
Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, continuously expands its product portfolio of mechanical pipes by entering new market segments.
In October, the Dnipro production site of Interpipe Niko Tube plant completed the debut shipment of 465 mm thick-walled pipes batch with a volume of approx. 280 tons. They will serve for the manufacture of hydraulic cylinders used in mining equipment.
The mastering and delivery of such unique pipes was carried out under the order of Polish BOMI, one of the main distributors of mechanical pipes at the European market. Interpipe has been in close collaboration with Polish side for about 20 years.
The end consumer of the supplied goods has already manufactured hydraulic cylinders with welded bottoms out of these pipes, and the final product will be used as hydraulic props for powered support units.

- Interpipe strives to constantly expand its product portfolio. At present the demand for large-diameter seamless pipes for hydraulics is growing. Moreover, there are a limited number of manufacturers of such products in the world. Therefore, we aim to enter this promising niche which will allow us to attract new customers.

The company's products are marketed in more than 80 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Ukraine, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Interpipe has 11 thousand people working at the company's facilities. During 2020 the Company transferred UAH 2.54bln in taxes to budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
