Provision Of Financial Assistance

Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(1)(iii) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that it had provided financial assistance in the form of advances to its associate and subsidiary companies during the first quarter ended 31 March 2022 as follows: -

1. On 4 January 2022, 26 January 2022, 31 January 2022, 7 February 2022, 23 February 2022, 28 February 2022, 1 March 2022, 10 March 2022, 22 March 2022, 28 March 2022, 30 March 2022, a total of USD 15,242,137 advances (equivalent to RM 64.1 million based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to PT Indonesia AirAsia ("IAA") by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AAB;

2. On 7 February 2022, 14 February 2022, 28 February 2022, 9 March 2022, 30 March 2022, a total of USD 1,235,842 (equivalent to RM 5.2 million based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to Philippines Airasia Inc. ("PAA") by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AAB;

3. On 24 February 2022, 28 February 2022 and 28 March 2022, a loan of RM 41,600,000 was provided to AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd ("ACT") by the Company;

4. On 21 March 2022, a loan of RM 1,000,000 was provided to Ikhlas Com Travel Sdn Bhd ("IKHLAS") by the Company;

5. On 4 January 2022, 25 January 2022 and 23 February 2022, a total of USD 3,410,000 advances (equivalent to RM 14.3 million based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to PAA by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AirAsia Aviation Group Limited ("AAAGL") (formerly known as AirAsia Aviation Limited);

6. On 10 February 2022, an advance of USD 1,393 (equivalent to RM 5,855 based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to AirAsia Com Travel (Thailand) Ltd ("ACTTH") by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

7. On 9 March 2022 and 28 March 2022, a total RM 113,752 advances was provided to AirAsia Ride Sdn Bhd ("AARIDE") by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

8. On 23 February 2022 and 28 March 2022, an advance of USD 675,877 was provided to Ourfarm Asia Sdn Bhd ("OURFARM") by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

9. On 5 January 2022, 7 January 2022, 31 January 2022, 23 February 2022, 10 March 2022 and 28 March 2022, a total of USD 225,080 advances (equivalent to RM 0.9 million based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to PT AirAsia SuperApp Indonesia (formerly known as PT AirAsia Com Indonesia)("SuperApp ID") by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

10. On 3 January 2022, an advance of RM 7,615,426 was provided to ACT by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AirAsia Digtial Sdn Bhd ("AAD");

11. On 31 March 2022, a loan of RM 29,492,800 was provided to Teleport Everywhere Pte Ltd ("TLPSG") by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AAD;

12. On 5 January 2022, 14 January 2022, 23 February 2022 and 23 March 2022, a total of USD 958,775 loan (equivalent to RM 4.0 million based on the exchange rate of 4.203 as at 31 March 2022) was provided to Teleport Commerce (Thailand) Co Ltd ("TLPCMTH") by the Company, through its subsidiary, TLPSG;

(Collectively, referred to as "the Financial Assistance").

The Financial Assistance provided was in the ordinary course of business and to facilitate the running of the operations and financial affairs of IAA, PAA, ACT, IKHLAS, ACTTH, SuperApp, AARIDE, OURFARM, SuperApp ID, TLPSG and TLPCMTH.

The Financial Assistance provided does not have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.
