The President signed 9 Parliament-approved laws.

Laws aim to open an additional appropriation in the 2022 budget reserve, approving the conclusion of agreements and memoranda of understanding, and imposing and amending fees.

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, today signed 9 laws approved by the Parliament as follows:

- Law No. 295 dated 8/8/2022 to open an additional appropriation in the section of the general budget reserve for the year 2022, amounting to 10,000 billion Lebanese pounds, of which 7,400 billion will be a reserve to feed the various items of the budget, and 2,600 billion will be for the bidding reserve for the year 2022.

-Law No. 296 dated 8/8/2022 requesting approval of the conclusion of an agreement between Lebanon and the International Francophone Organization regarding a representation of the organization in the Middle East, based in Beirut, and the privileges and immunities it enjoys on Lebanese territory.

- Law No. 297 dated 8/8/2022 approving the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in combating forest fires between Lebanon and Cyprus.

- Law No. 298 dated 8/8/2022 a loan agreement provided by the World Bank with a value of 150 million US dollars to implement the emergency response project to secure wheat supplies.

-Law No. 299 of 8/8/2022 authorizing the government to conclude a technical cooperation agreement between the government of the Lebanese Republic and the government of Japan.

-Law No. 300 dated 8/8/2022 amending the schedules of fees for ports, lighthouses, and airport fees listed in Table No. 9 attached to the 2019 budget law.

-Law No. 301 dated 08/08/2022 amending Article 72 of Law No. 326 issued on 06/28/2001 (the 2001 budget) the fee charged for using the salons of honor at Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut.

-Law No. 302 dated 8/8/2022 amending Article 35 of Law No. 6 issued on March 5, 2020 (the general budget and supplementary budgets for the year 2020).

-Law No. 303 of 8/8/2022 amending Article One of Law No. 90 of 10/9/1991 imposing an exit fee on passengers by air or sea, and an entry fee for non-Lebanese, with allocating a certain percentage deposited in a special account opened in US dollars at The Banque du Liban is in the name of the Lebanese state, and its proceeds are allocated to spending on airport equipment and maintenance in accordance with the laws in force.​
