Holiday Match starts on Thanksgiving Day, it is one of our favorite times of the year. Over the Holiday Match season, we match all the donations that come through our shops, dollar for dollar, penny for penny. Giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of who we are.

Last year, our generous customers donated nearly $900,000 in spare change, it's truly amazing how it adds up. After the Stewart's match, the total money donated was $1.88 million! The funds raised supported 1,715 local children's organizations across the 32 counties we are located in. Whether you drop 10 cents or $10 in that little bucket, every contribution counts. We also accept personal checks too if you are looking for other ways to donate.

Holiday Match Applications

Applications for Holiday Match open on Thanksgiving Day. Non-profit 501c3 organizations can apply for funds starting Thanksgiving Day through January 31st. Applications are reviewed, and allocations are made in March. Applications can be found here starting on Thanksgiving day.

About Holiday Match

This is our 35^th year of the program. Holiday Match is designed to specifically benefit organizations/programs for kids under the age of 18 in the areas of social services, health, education, recreations, and the arts.

To date, with the help of our customers, we have raised over $32 million for local children's charities. We collect donations in our shops from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day. We match our customers' donations dollar for dollar, with no administrative fees. In 2020, together we raised over $ 1.8 million.

Unlike most charitable programs, the Holiday Match has zero administrative fees. The program only accepts cash donations which eliminates credit card processing fees; and 100% of the donations are allocated for children's charity groups. Also, unlike other charities, EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR is matched, which means your donations are doubled.
