Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether

Join us in an exciting exploration through an innovative library learning pilot program, Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether. The program is a reconceptualized format of the former Read TUgether and is intended to involve the wider campus community beyond first-year students and instructors. The program committee is led by Audrey Stewart, MLIS, digital technologies librarian, and includes faculty and staff across campus.

Designed to foster a sense of community, this year's program focuses on the themes of loneliness and social connection. Loneliness poses a significant challenge for individuals nationwide, to the extent that it's acknowledged as a critical public health concern. Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether aims to bridge this gap by providing opportunities for connection, discussion, and collaboration.

The program offers students, faculty, and staff a shared platform to engage with a common medium or text. To shift toward an all-campus program, the committee has selected Dr. Vivek Murthy's enlightening podcast series, House Calls, comprising 10 thought-provoking episodes.

Listen at your leisure and engage with the diverse offerings of Learn TUgether, Grow TUgether. Whether you're seeking meaningful conversations, insightful discussions, or practical workshops, there's something for everyone. Let's come together, learn together, and grow together as a community.

Stay tuned for more information to come throughout the summer.
