Certificates of Appreciation for Student Volunteers

The department of Natural Sciences and physics faculty thanked a group of students from across multiple disciplines for their time as volunteers for the 2024 Solar Eclipse events on campus. Students learned the physics behind the phenomena observed in four telescopes arranged on the quad during the eclipse, and they shared the knowledge with the campus and surrounding community on Monday April 8, 2024. LTU campus was witness to an almost 99% coverage during the partial solar eclipse. Certificates of appreciation and bookstore gift cards were awarded to: Ms. Gracie Bobo, Ms. Charlie Klint, Ms. Chloe Lemke, Ms. Maya Oke, Mr. Mrunal Gangji, Mr. Vikranth Kanaparthi, Mr. Mihir Patel, Mr. Karthik Saladi, and Society of Physics Students Ms. Tia Abbas, Mr. Peter Snider, and Mr. Luke Hudy!
