Fort Dodge, IA- The NEW Cooperative Foundation is pleased to present a donation to the North Central Iowa Ag in the Classroom. The focus of North Central Ag in the Classroom is to provide education to elementary and middle school students in North, IA. The funds will be used to present in-classroom lessons in every district in Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Franklin, Hancock, Hardin, Kossuth, Webster, Winnebago, and Worth Counties.
"We are proud to support the North Central Iowa Ag in the Classroom and their mission to educate youth on the importance of the agriculture industry to their families and communities" stated Gary Moritz, NEW Cooperative Communications Director.
On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Gary Moritz, NEW Cooperative Communications Director representing the NEW Cooperative Foundation along with the Land O' Lakes presented a check to members of the North Central Iowa Ag in the Classroom in the total amount of $3,000.
