DALLAS - This week, the district will host two tele-town halls to gather community input regarding the proposed 2022-2023 budget. The virtual sessions will begin at 6 p.m. tonight, April 25, and Wednesday, April 27. Families and staff will be able to learn more about the proposed budget, provide feedback and ask questions.

To register for the Telephone Town Hall, click here. Registered participants will receive a call at the number they provided to join the meeting by phone. There will be an option to join the forum in Spanish.

100 Dallas ISD students receive a letter of intent
During a special ceremony at Adamson High School earlier this month, more than 100 Dallas ISD P-TECH students in the education pathway received a letter of intent guaranteeing them teaching jobs in Dallas ISD after they receive their bachelor's degree.

Through the Dallas ISD Education Pathway, students take college-level courses and graduate with an associate degree and a high school diploma. This pathway is available for students at Bryan Adams, W.W. Samuell, Sunset, and W.T. White high schools.

Digital Palooza to showcase young students' tech skills
To applaud early learning students' use of technology, the district will host an in-person celebration called Digital Palooza. This annual event highlights students' work and achievements fueled by Dallas ISD's partnership with Apple. All students, parents and district employees are invited to attend the celebration at 5 p.m. April 28 at Conrad High School.

Sixth-grade delegates convene at Ellis Davis for Model UN Conference
At 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 26, Dallas ISD will celebrate its in-person Model United Nations Conference. This event brings hundreds of sixth graders together across the district to discuss and address current global issues while role-playing as delegates from UN countries. The event will take place at Ellis Davis Field House.
