Pilots of Black Sea Fleet naval aviation perform first combat training flights in winter training period

The pilots of the aviation squadrons of the separate naval assault and mixed aviation regiments of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet conducted the first combat training flights in the winter period of training.

During combat training, aircraft crews carried out bombing at a target field, firing unguided missile weapons at coastal and sea targets, and also practiced searching and tracking submarines and surface ships in the Black Sea.

More than 20 units of aviation equipment were involved in the flights, including: multifunctional Su-30SM fighters, Su-24M sort-range bombers, Be-12, An-26 aircraft, Mi-8 and Ka-27 helicopters.
