The crews of the naval aviation helicopters of the Pacific Fleet conducted training in the search and rescue of people conditionally in distress on the water.

The task of the training was to check the systems of aviation equipment after seasonal maintenance and improve the skills of the crews of Ka-27PS helicopters when performing search and rescue of people in distress conditionally.

The crews of Ka-27PS search and rescue helicopters in low temperature conditions practiced the search for mock victims by an emergency signal of radio equipment, hovering over the water surface, as well as lifting people in distress on board and providing them with first aid.

In addition, the pilots of the Ka-27PS improved their piloting skills over non-orientated terrain.

The trainings were held in the waters of the Peter the Great Bay for several days.
