The Bettendorf Books: City Completes Annual Budget Process

FEBRUARY 26, 2024 - Just like you or your family, the City of Bettendorf has a budget. It helps keep our neighborhoods safe, allows us to build and maintain streets and structures, enables us to beautify our parks and organize recreation programs, the list goes on and on.

The budget provides accurate and timely financial guidance and services to the Mayor, City Council, City Administrator, and all Department Heads so they can prepare their own budgets, manage those budgets, and better understand the City's financial performance - but it also ensures that we use your taxpayer dollars responsibly.

FEBRUARY 10, 2024 at 8am- Saturday Budget Workshop

FEBRUARY 26, 2024 at 5pm - Presentation of FY 2024/2025 Budget:

MARCH 5, 2024 at 7pm - City Council Sets the Date for a Public Hearing on the Proposed FY 24/25 Property Tax Rates

MARCH 25, 2024 at 5pm - Public Hearing on the Maximum Property Tax Dollars Resolution

APRIL 2, 2024 at 7pm - City Council Sets the Date for a Public Hearing on the Adoption of the FY 24/25 Budget

APRIL 16, 2024 at 7pm - Public Hearing on the Adoption of the FY 24/25 Budget, then City Council Votes to Adopt the FY 24/25 Budget

All meetings are open to the public and are held in City Hall Council Chambers, 1609 State Street.
