NATO Military Committee session and Georgian Plenary Session held in Tsinandali

Georgia is hosting the fourth visit of the NATO Military Committee. The second day of the visit was opened at the Radisson Collection in Tsinandali with a plenary session of the NATO Military Committee and Georgia. Georgian Minister of Defence Juansher Burchuladze and the new Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer welcomed the NATO and Georgian senior military officials. According to Juansher Burchuladze, the visit of the NATO Military Committee to Georgia is another proof of the unwavering support and commitment of the Alliance and it is noteworthy that Georgia enjoys unprecedented support from NATO, which is reflected in significant financial, expert and practical assistance.

Regional security environment and challenges, Black Sea security and practical aspects of cooperation, ongling defence reforms were among the main topics highligheted during the plenary session. The NATO Military Committee representatives positively evaluated Georgia's training capabilities, new infrastructure and systems, and emphasized the high level of preparedness and interoperability of Georgian units. The NATO side thanked Georgia for its committement in the common security efforts.
