Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics is carefully returning to in-person care with new safety measures and enhanced cleaning protocols to keep our patients and staff safe.
We depend on our dedicated environmental services team to maintain sanitary environments so that we can deliver high-quality patient care. This team is the first and last defense against COVID-19.
'The extraordinary teamwork required to care for the complex health care environment brought on by the pandemic should be applauded,' says Gundersen Boscobel's Director of Environmental Services Teresa Richardson. 'I've seen how hard our EVS team has worked and the adaptations they've made to ensure our patients are safe in our care. I'm proud to lead this team.'
While the work may have shifted during the pandemic, the mission remained the same. Now and when the pandemic passes, Gundersen's EVS heroes will work to make sure our facilities are safe for everyone.
'On behalf of the leadership team and staff, we appreciate the many contributions our EVS team has made to ensure the health and safety of our patients,' shared Administrator Theresa Braudt. 'Their continued focus on patient safety and satisfaction are a vital component to ensuring optimal patient outcomes.'
Gundersen Boscobel's environmental team includes Director Teresa Richardson, Denise McQuirk, Lori Moret, Cheri Dremsa, Laurel Myers, Herb Saunchegrow and Kathy Chappell. A special thanks to each of these hardworking professionals for the diligence with which they take their ever-changing responsibilities to keep patients and the community safe.
