ERIE, Pa. - Junior was the top finisher for the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team as she carded a two-day total of 179 (84, 95) to lead the Warriors to a tie for 14th-place at Gannon's Michael Corbett Fall Classic at Lake Shore Country Club on Sunday and Monday.
The Warriors carded a season-best 749 after shooting 371 in the final round on Monday. ESU tied with Davis & Elkins College and finished five shots ahead of PSAC member Seton Hill, who carded a 754 (376, 378).
Crines, who carded ESU's lowest overall score for the second-straight tournament, finished tied for 57th out of 110 golfers in the individual standings. She was tied for 28th following day one after carding an 84 on Sunday.
Freshman (98, 86) and senior (97, 90) were the next two low scorers for ESU on the par-72 course. Minter finished in a tie for 65th with two other golfers, while Bergquist placed in a tie for 73rd with Hannah Mensch from Mercyhurst.
Ashland ranked first out of 20 schools in the team standings, while West Chester had the top individual finisher after Meghan O'Mara carded a 7-over 151 (77, 74).
ESU heads to Collegeville, Pa. for the Ursinus Invitational at Raven's Claw Golf Club on Tuesday, September 17.
