Abstract

In this paper, we attempt to contribute to the existing literature by understanding the impact of Covid-19 on employment, income, poverty and inequality in India based on the data obtained from three rounds (2008-09, 2018-19 and 2020-21) of household surveys conducted in Alabujanahalli, a village located in the southern part of Karnataka.

This is an output from the Data and Evidence for Tackling Extreme Poverty (DEEP) Research Programme.
