in line with my important regional and international talks in phone calls with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres

On Monday, in line with my important regional and international talks, in phone calls with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, as well as the secretary generals of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), while referring to the escalation of crimes perpetrated by the Zionist regime in the region, I emphasized on our country's legitimate right to respond to the Israeli regime's terrorist attack on of the Iranian consular building in Damascus, as per Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

In continuation, I spoke to Indonesian Foreign Minister Ms. Retno Marsudi, Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Tania Fajon, Malaysia Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

During the talks, while clarifying the Islamic Republic of Iran's clear stance on the significance of sustainable peace and security in the region and preventing the spread of tensions, I emphasized that our country's national security and national interests cannot be compromised.
