The President Endorsed the Reconstruction of the Largest Hospital in Kryvyi Rih

During the meeting in Dnipro chaired by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Minister of Health Viktor Liashko reported on the project of creation of a second line of hospitals for receiving wounded defenders.

Viktor Liashko noted that Kryvyi Rih Hospital No. 2 will be reconstructed to accommodate soldiers from the south direction.

"This hospital will increase our capacity to receive wounded soldiers which will relieve pressure on first-line hospitals," he said.

The Minister of Health suggested allocating grant funds for the overhaul of the hospital. According to him, the project for the reconstruction of the hospital has already been designed and will be launched starting with the surgical unit.

In addition, Viktor Liashko proposed to involve combat medics to work at hospitals of the second line.

"This is a very good initiative. We have to implement it," the President said.
