Andreas Weingartner appointed as new Manager of Lucerne branch

Andreas Weingartner has been appointed as the new Manager of Vontobel's branch in Lucerne, effective January 1, 2022. The branch is currently headed by Bruno Jenny (born 1961), who has decided to step down from his management position for age-related reasons and will focus fully on serving his clients until his retirement.

Andreas Weingartner has been onboard since Vontobel opened its branch in Lucerne in 2001. Before moving to Vontobel, he spent four years as a Relationship Manager in Private Banking at Luzerner Kantonalbank. Andreas Weingartner is a Swiss certified banking expert (IWB Lucerne) and a qualified financial planner (AKAD Zurich). He also holds an MAS Private Banking & Wealth Management from IFZ Zug.

Since joining Vontobel, Andreas Weingartner has actively helped to write the company's success story in Central Switzerland. In just over 20 years, the number of employees in the region has trebled. At the same time, the team in Central Switzerland has positioned itself as a reliable long-term partner that pursues a holistic advisory approach.

"Vontobel is committed to delivering global, active wealth and asset management that meets the highest standards of quality and is well established at a local level. Our branch in Lucerne has grown thanks to our loyal clients, who value our investment expertise and our wealth management services, as well as our employees, who demonstrate a strong client focus and deliver on our strategy in their daily work. We are delighted that we have been able to appoint a future branch manager from among our own ranks," stated Jean-Pierre Stillhart, Head of Vontobel Wealth Management German-speaking Switzerland.
