Colts, Sodexo Live! Tap Two Players for Special Dishes, Add New Local Wine Program and More for 2022 Season at Lucas Oil Stadium

New Kids' Menu and Featured Gameday Matchup Specials Also Available

INDIANAPOLIS (August 18, 2022) - Excitement is building for the 2022 NFL season and Sodexo Live!, hospitality partner to the Indianapolis Colts, today unveiled an enticing lineup of new food and beverage offerings for the upcoming year.

Taking things to the next level after years of great partnership between Sodexo Live! and the Colts, Sodexo Live!'s Executive Chef Shimelis "Shimu" Adem has collaborated with All-Pro Linebacker Shaquille Leonard and Defensive Tackle Grover Stewart on specialty dishes, acting as honorary "Chief Flavor Officers."

A dish that gives back, Shaquille and chef created The Maniac Burger of the Game, which will rotate for each Colts home game and be themed to the opposing team's city's signature food. Proceeds from each burger sold at Lucas Oil Stadium will go to the Maniac Foundation, founded in 2020 by Shaquille and his wife, Kayla, to help transform lives through education, wellness, serving families in need and other causes.

Grover threw on his chef's hat to work with Chef Shimu to perfect Grover Stewart's Kitchen Sink Wings, which were the talk around Indy when featured on HBO's Hard Knocks last year. Grover's exclusive, top-secret home dish will be available to guests of Lucas Oil Stadium at section 124, 144 and 533's Grill-N-Brew, as well as 327's Red Zone Grill.

Shaquille's burgers and Grover's wings will be available only during the Colts' regular season.

Each year we strive to bring fresh new ideas to Lucas Oil Stadium to provide a well-rounded fan experience, and I think everyone who visits will really enjoy what we've put together with Sodexo Live! and our local partners this year, said Roger VanDerSnick, Colts chief sales & marketing officer. We're especially excited to involve our players in this year's menu offerings through Chef Shimu's collaboration with Shaquille and Grover.

Earlier in the year as Chef Shimu and the team kicked off the menu development process, Sodexo Live! and the Colts hosted a kids' taste testing event to get ideas and feedback to influence the final menu. Some items that stood out among the kids and made the final cut include mini corn dogs and ham and cheese sandwiches.

For guests 21 and older, new craft cocktails will be available in the stadium's general concourse, and for fans in the clubs and suites, a new partnership with iconic local restaurant St. Elmo Steak House will expand wine offerings at the stadium including the 2017 Jayson, 2021 Twomey and 2019 The Hess Collection, to name a few. Lucas Oil Stadium is also adding Sweetens Cove Tennessee Bourbon, backed by Colts legend Peyton Manning, to its club and suite offerings this year.

Fans can also look forward to new general concourse and suite items, featured matchup gameday specials, like smoked brisket nachos for the Houston Texans game or "City of Angels Santa Maria" steak street tacos for the Los Angeles Chargers game, new desserts and more.
