History StoryWalk

The McHenry County Historical Society is hosting a History StoryWalk at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the county history museum, 6422 Main St. in Union. Children ages 5-12 are encouraged to leap, buzz, and slink as they read pages of 'A Frog in the Bog,' by popular children's author Karma Wilson. Kids complete an activity before being directed to next page in the story - both in English and Spanish. Other activities include a scavenger hunt, pioneer toy experience and painting garden stepping stones. The museum is open from 1 to 4 p.m. For information, visit GotHistory.org.
