Police Blotter: September 12 to 18

September 12, 2022

SE Alexander St/SE Davis Rd.: An adult male crashed his vehicle into 3 parked cars. The man was arrested for DUII and provided a breath sample measuring .23%BAC. The man was lodged at jail.

2300blk of SE TV-Hwy,: Officers responded on a report of an adult male driver in a white escalade with red wheels acting suspicious in the parking lot of a restaurant. The vehicle was located at a nearby gas station and the driver was identified as a suspect in a Forest Grove (FGPD) burglary case. Ultimately the suspect was lodged at jail for numerous charges by FGPD.

September 13, 2022

1000blk of SE Oak St.: Officers on bicycle patrol were flagged down about a transient camp and advised the occupants were trespassing and lighting fires at night. Officer contacted two occupants, one of which was an adult female who armed herself with a stick and tried to flee. An officer behind her, whom she didn't see, pulled the stick away and she was safely taken into custody for trespass and multiple misdemeanor warrants. The woman went to jail.

2600blk of NE Aurora Dr.: An adult male was arrested after he reportedly entered a person's open garage and took several items. The man was contacted by Officers and was found to be in possession of the neighbor's bicycle. The man reportedly tried to enter the back yard of another neighbor where he threw something at the homeowner hitting them with it as they confronted him. The man was charged with Theft and Harassment and went to jail.

September 14, 2022

700blk of NW Connell Ave.: An adult male menaced his mother with two knives and punctured a vehicle tire. He was uncooperative when contacted, a Taser deployment was successful, and the man was detained without further incident. The man went to jail on charges of Parole Violation, Menacing, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Criminal Mischief.

4100blk of SE 69th Ave.: Officers investigating on a residential burglary identified a male suspect and learned the man had been arrested by Washington County Sheriff's Office on an unrelated incident of Unlawful Entry into a motor vehicle. The Officer went to the jail and added Burglary charges to his list of crimes. The man remained in jail.

September 15, 2022

NE 21st Ave./NE Darby St.: A stolen 2011 Red Jeep Wrangler was located by Officers sitting near the intersection. The Jeep had no plates and was stripped for parts. The vehicle, what was left of it, was recovered.

2000blk of SE TV-Hwy.: An adult male was called in for trespass and unwanted by a business owner. Officers contacted the man and observed he was smoking a controlled substance. The controlled substance was identified as "Blues" which is the common street name for pill press fentynal. The man was on parole and when his Parole Officer was called and made aware of his actions the man went to jail on a Parole Violation detainer.

September 16, 2022

3200blk of SE Cedar St.: An adult male was arrested and lodged at jail on charges of Assault IV Felony.

Kaiser Westside Hospital.: An adult male was issued a citation in Lieu of Custody after he decided to throw a fire extinguisher at the front desk reception counter causing damage.

September 17, 2022

7300blk of NE Cornell Rd.: An adult female was called in by a business employee who discovered the door to the business smashed in and the female inside attempting to steal money from cash registers. The female ran from the business and fled the area in a vehicle as Officers were arriving on scene. Officers gave pursuit and used a PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) to stop the vehicle. The female was taken into custody after a successful K9 track. It was learned, (from the suspect), she decided to swallow approximately half ounce of heroin and about 14 blue fentanyl pills while running. The woman was transported to a local hospital and issued Citations in Lieu of custody for Burglary, Felony Elude, Reckless driving, Reckless endangering, and Criminal mischief.

SW 185th Ave./W Baseline Rd.: An adult male was arrested and taken to jail after he intentionally drank water infused with methamphetamine and then decided to attempt to kick in the apartment door of his cousin. (The man DID NOT live at the apartment). He was lodged on Oregon State Parole Board warrant in addition to his crimes.

September 18, 2022

800blk of NE 25th Ave.: An adult male drove off in a black GMC SUV after he got gas and helped himself to a donut and soda without paying for anything. The donut thief was not located.

700blk of NE Autumn Creek WY.: An adult male was arrested and taken to jail on charges of Domestic Violence Menacing and Criminal Mischief. The man barricaded himself in the bathroom of the apartment for a brief time while Officers negotiated with him. The man refused to come out and Officers breached the door and placed him under arrest.
