Gardner Applauds $1.1 Million in DOT Emergency Relief Grants for Colorado

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, applauded the announcement that the U.S. Forest Service will receive a combined $1,180,708 in Emergency Relief for Federally Owned Roads (ERFO) grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to repair and reconstruct federal roads in Colorado destroyed by natural disasters.

'I am pleased DOT will award this funding to help rebuild roads impacted by natural disasters,' said Senator Gardner. 'Going forward, I will continue my efforts at the federal level to support Colorado's transportation priorities and ensure our communities have the resources needed to recover from natural disasters.'
