Festival Escena Patrimonio in Spain — Italy among guest countries

The Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid is working with the celebrated "Festival Escena Patrimonio". This platform for choreographic creation and cultural exchanges, with performances in Spain's 15 UNESCO World Heritage cities, will run from 13 to 17 September 2022. For this year's edition, the fifth, Italy has been chosen as a guest country. As part of the event, "La Noche del Patrimonio" will take place in Segovia and San Cristóbal de la Laguna at the close of the festival. It will feature two Italian artists, Claudia Castellucci and Alessandro Sciarroni respectively.

Claudia Castellucci, a choreographer, will also hold "Ejercicios Rítmicos de Segovia" workshops throughout the festival, in the city's Church of San Nicolás. The workshop will include a study on the sound of bells. For a maximum of 14 participants - dancers, actors and members of the public -, the daily workshops will each last seven hours and will include dance, rhythm and gymnastics exercises.
