Taiwan's Hand Tool Exports Recover in 2021
Taiwan is among the world's top five exporters of hand tools. In 2021, the global economic recovery, along with the rise of metal prices, drove the export value of Taiwan's hand tools to increase 27.4%.
The United States and European Union are the two largest export destinations of Taiwan's hand tools, accounting for over 60% of our total hand tool exports. As the U.S. and EU recovered, removed restrictive measures, and promoted infrastructure, their economies drove a rise in demand.
