While progress has been made in recent years to improve flu vaccination rates, self-reported health status and oral health for older adults, long-standing challenges and disparities have persisted or worsened during the pandemic.

The United Health Foundation's 10th annual "America's Health Rankings Senior Report" highlights improvements, challenges and disparities in health and well-being across all 50 states during the past decade. This year's report highlights 62 measures from 21 unique data sources used to reveal current and emerging issues affecting older adults. The top-ranked states in this year's report are Utah, Vermont, Minnesota, Connecticut and Colorado.
