International Nurse's Day Celebration - 2022

The International Nurse's Day was celebrated at INHS Asvini on 12 May 2022, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Several programmes were organised as part of a week-long celebration to commemorate this year's theme "Nurses: A voice to Lead - Invest in Nursing and Respect Rights to Secure Global Health". A quiz competition and interactive health talks at OPDs of various departments - paediatrics, gynae and obstetrics, oncology, medicine, and psychiatry - were conducted. On 12 May 2022, a symposium was also organised, during which papers on current issues in nursing were presented. Chief Guest for the event, Surgeon Rear Admiral Anupam Kapoor, Commanding Officer INHS Asvini, appreciated MNS officers for their invaluable contributions and encouraged them to continue the good work, living upto the great selfless values that Florence Nightingale represented.
