Secretary General arrives in Madrid, thanks Spain for hosting historic NATO Summit

The Secretary General outlined the transformative decisions that will be taken at the Summit, including a fundamental shift in NATO's deterrence and defence, supporting Ukraine for the longer term, and deepening cooperation with like-minded partners around the world.

Allied leaders will also adopt NATO's new Madrid Strategic Concept, the Alliance's blueprint for keeping its one billion citizens safe in a more dangerous and competitive world.
