Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand paid a farewell call on Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand via meeting online.

On June 10, 2022, H.E. Mr. Marek Libřický, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Thailand paid a farewell call on Mr.Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand via online meeting.

On this occasion, both sides discussed the bilateral relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic, including key developments during Ambassador Libřický's tenure, especially the official visit to Thailand of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic in 2019, which was the first visit to Thailand by a sitting Prime Minister of the Czech Republic since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Both sides also discussed economic cooperation, space and sports diplomacy. In addition, both sides discussed promoting people-to-people contact through tourism and Muay Thai.
