Severomorsk anti-submarine ship enters Norwegian sea

Severomorsk anti-submarine ship and Vyazma sea tanker entered the southern part of Norwegian sea. The detachment is going to Severomorsk the main base of the Northern fleet. Their arrival is expected at the end of the week.

During the trip, it visited the Atlantic and Indian oceans, took part in the Main Naval Parade in the city of Kronstadt. The crew of the ASW ship Severomorsk carried out a number of military diplomatic missions and visited the ports of Algeria, Victoria, Pemba, Antsiranana, Djibouti, Karachi and Limassol.

From mid-January to early March, the ship was repaired in the main base of the Black Sea Feet - Sevastopol, and then continued to operate in the Mediterranean sea.

In total, the ship made more than 40,000 nautical miles and performed dozens of combat missions related to combating piracy and terrorist activities at sea, self-defence of the ship, search for submarines, their classification and tracking them.
