MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) awarded the WCR Member of the Year Award to Milwaukee-area REALTOR® Sarah Cole at the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) annual convention held in Wisconsin Dells in September.
Cole obtained her real estate and broker's licenses in 2011 and then, in 2014, she opened her own company and had her best year in sales. Since beginning her real estate career, Cole has attended the state and national conventions for the National Association of REALTORS®, the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) and the WRA. She believes in continued education and growth to stay current with the latest trends and the ever-changing market, which enables Cole to be a great broker and leader.
Cole was elected president-elect for the WCR in Milwaukee and then served as president in 2013-14. During that time, she was able to grow the chapter in size and is now recognized nationally with a retention award and gained monetary rewards for the chapter. She has also served as the Women's Council 2015 governor, 2016 state president-elect and 2017 state president. Sarah currently serves on the WRA board of directors and the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS®' professional standards committee.
This award is given by the WCR, and the recipient is recognized for exceptional leadership skills and advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and their communities.
