Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and MEC Sipho Hlomuka visits KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Disaster Management Centre following the floods, 28 Apr

Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will on Thursday, 28 April 2022, undertake an oversight visit to the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Disaster Management Centre (PDMC) following the devastating floods.

The Minister aims to gain first-hand account of the integrated and coordinated disaster management system led by the disaster management centre to enable humanitarian and infrastructure efforts.

Furthermore, Minister Dlamini Zuma will visit various areas negatively affected by the floods to assess progress at the coalface of implementation. This oversight will give impetus to the District Development Model (DDM) principles as an all of government and society approach.
