It is Envisaged to Turn to Electronic Regime Procedure on Criminal Cases in 2023: the Deputy Minister of Justice

In accordance with the regulations stipulated by the law on Prosecutor's Office, to make up the list of the prosecutors' candidates, as well as in case of vacancy for the Deputy Prosecutor General, the information is published for announcing a competition, among them also in the 3000 copies of printing press.

According to the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arpine Sargsyan, other toolkits of information spreading and publication, which are more consonant to the modern tendencies of the information technology development, are envisaged with regulations.

Thus, the Government proposes to amend the abovementioned law for making up the list of the candidacies, as well as in the case of a vacant position for the Deputy Prosecutor for announcing a competition publish the information on the official website of the RA public notices and on the website of the Prosecutor's Office.

The deputies highlighted the use of the more effective awareness means. They touched upon receiving the notifications in the paper format.

According to the rapporteur, it is designed to turn to the electronic regime procedure on criminal cases in 2023.

The Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs endorsed the initiative.
