Specialists of the railway troops of the WMD are completing the filling of the embankment for the railway track from the station 'Vykhodnoi' to the station 'Post 9-th kilometer' with a length of 5.7 kilometers.

In total the servicemen of the military railway battalion of mechanized 29 separate railway brigade, stationed in Bryansk region, carried out the works for the removal of excavated rock in the amount of 27 thousand cubic meters, made the layout and seal the main site of the subgrade length of about 4 kilometres, most of which is already laid sleepers and rails. Also, the military railway servicemen of the WMD delivered more than 3.3 thousand cubic meters of crushed stone ballast and performed mining works of a excavation from the rock soil in the amount of 43 thousand cubic meters.

After another explosion of rock on a bypass section of the railway track in the Kola district of the Murmansk region, military railway servicmen of the WMD continued to excavate and remove soil using four-wheel-drive Kamaz dump trucks and other special equipment of the railway troops.

All work on the round-the-clock shift filling of the embankment for the railway track in order to restore railway communication is carried out in accordance with the schedule.

In total, more than 100 military personnel and more than 40 units of special military equipment of the WMD units are involved in helping to restore railway communication in the Kola district of the Murmansk region.

Measures in restoring the railway communication in the Kola district of the Murmansk region are being carried out by the Russian Defence Ministry in accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin, and on behalf of the Russian Defence Minister, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.
