Thank you, UPD officers: May 12-18 is National Police Week

National Police Week, May 12-18, pays recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the protection of others.

At Western Washington University, the team supporting its commissioned officers would like to take the time to thank the officers of our department for their dedication to the safety of the WWU campus community. Their dedication and work throughout our community makes us more resilient and focused on everyone's well-being.

The team also invites you as members of Western's community to say thank you to our officers as well, as you can. They appreciate you, your partnership and your insight.
