TALLAHASSEE - On Wednesday, May 1, the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a hearing to consider Tampa Electric Company's (TECO) petition for recovery of costs associated with named tropical systems and replenishment of its storm reserve. TECO's petition includes cost recovery for Tropical Storm Alberto (2018), Hurricane Dorian (2019), Tropical Storm Nestor (2019), Tropical Storm Eta (2020), Hurricane Elsa (2021), Hurricanes Ian and Nicole (2022). TECO serves over 810,000 customers in Hillsborough and portions of Polk, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. TECO's Storm Cost Recovery hearing is scheduled for the following time and location:
