Prime Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă deems unacceptable the public dissemination of so-called lists of "toxic newsrooms" and firmly condemns the expression of differences of opinions through any type of violence.

The Romanian Prime Minister upholds the fundamental rights and protection of journalists, any incitement to hatred against the press may contribute to creating a vision that would take Romania away from the democratic values it undertook as a NATO and EU Member State.
