The twenty-third edition of the Latibex Forum will kick off next Monday, 22 November. The benchmark event that brings together companies and investors from Latin America and Europe will conclude on the 24th, following what will be three days of intense activity. Once again this year, the Forum will be held remotely, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and all the panels will be broadcast on the event's website, where the full programme can also be consulted.

More than 60 investors and 100 listed companies will participate in this year's event, which will feature more than 500 one-to-one meetings and several panels on current issues that will provide valuable insight into the region at a crucial time in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Forum will begin on Monday 22nd at 16:00 hrs (Spanish time) with an opening ceremony, which will be led by Thomas Zeeb, Global Head of Exchanges at SIX, and Javier Hernani, CEO of BME. Gonzalo García de Andrés, Secretary of State for the Economy and Business Support, will also be in attendance during the opening ceremony, a special guest.

Fernando Ruiz, Chairman of Deloitte; João Marques da Cruz, CEO of EDP Brazil, and Mario Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Neoenergía, will discuss the risks and opportunities facing Latin America in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. The first day of the Forum will close with the round table "New vectors for Latin America's return to the growth path".

The following two days of the Forum will also host various panels on issues such as investment opportunities in the region, the transition to a green economy, sustainability, infrastructures and the boom of digitalisation, among other topics.

Leading companies from Latin America, such as Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Elektra, Grupo Bimbo and EDP Energías do Brasil (recently listed on the Latibex market), and from Spain, such as Santander, Acciona, BBVA, Iberdrola, Indra and Mapfre, will participate in the event.

Santander, Grupo Salinas and Deloitte are the main sponsors of the Latibex Forum.
