Alfredo Coronel Escobar is appointed as General Manager of PETROPERÚ

During a Board meeting on September 22, Alfredo Coronel Escobar was appointed General Manager (e) of Petróleos del Perú - PETROPERÚ S.A. as of September 23, replacing Carlos Barrientos Gonzales, who had been holding the position since August 2019.

Coronel Escobar is a chemical engineer from the Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco, a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Calgary in Alberta-Canada and a Master's Degree in Global Business and Energy Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has more than 38 years of experience in the oil industry, having served as Head of Engineering at Conchán Refinery, Manager of the Operational Planning Department, Corporate Planning Manager, Refining Manager and General Manager (i) in PETROPERÚ.
