Ferryland RCMP respond to complaint of suspicious vehicle in Portugal Cove South

In the early hours of December 23, 2017, Ferryland RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked north of Portugal Cove South.

The vehicle was identified as one that had collided with a cruiser from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary earlier in the evening and fled the scene.

Officers from Ferryland and Holyrood Detachments, along with Police Dog Services East, responded to the scene and apprehended the vehicle's occupants.

One of the suspects is facing a number of criminal charges.
