Trident University International’s Doctor of Business Administration Program Granted ACBSP Accreditation

(November 9, 2022 - Chandler, AZ) Trident University International's (Trident) 100% online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program has been granted programmatic accreditation by the Association Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) under the American InterContinental University System (AIUS).

This accreditation immediately applies to new and continuing students in Trident's DBA program.

"Gaining approval of this respected accreditation agency will benefit both current and new DBA students," states Dr. Lisa Mohanty, Dean of the Glenn R. Jones College of Business. "This demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and providing a rigorous, quality education for students."

ACBSP is a global business education accrediting body and the only organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral. ACBSP assesses whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Earlier this year, Trident was granted accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management (BSHRM), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs and concentrations under the American InterContinental University System (AIUS).

Trident launched its 100% online DBA program in October 2017. Critical thinking, evidence-based decision making, and leadership development are some of the key areas of focus for students. Through the discussion and analysis of contemporary case studies, students are given the opportunity to build off of their master's level learning in a challenging and collaborative environment.
