The international tactical exercise Slavic Brotherhood-2021 has started in the Krasnodar territory

The active phase of the international Russian-Belarusian-Serbian exercise Slavic Brotherhood-2021, which will take place in the period from June 16 to 18, has begun at the Raevsky training ground of the Novorossiysk guards airborne assault mountain unit in the Krasnodar territory.

In the course of practical actions, the servicemen will work out new aspects of interaction, in particular, issues of tactical actions, landing troops to ensure the entry of the main forces of the coalition unit of the three countries. According to the plan, the tactical exercise is dedicated to anti-terrorist activities.

'Every year on the territory of one of the countries - Belarus, Russia or Serbia - we hold an exercise. This year, the event takes place at the Raevsky training ground of the Novorossiysk airborne assault mountain unit. The main task this year is to work out the coherence of not only the units, but also the headquarters, so that our collective headquarters and forces are ready for any tests,' said Lieutenant General Andrey Kholzakov, Deputy Commander of the Airborne Troops for Peacekeeping Operations and Collective Rapid Reaction Forces.

In total, almost 1,000 servicemen from Russia, Belarus and Serbia are taking part in the exercise near Novorossiysk. About 100 military personnel from Serbia, about 300 military personnel of the Special Operations Forces of the Republic of Belarus on 60 units of military equipment, as well as more than 500 military personnel and about 100 units of equipment of the Novorossiysk airborne assault mountain unit will work out interaction within the framework of joint actions.
