Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Spain’s former Prime Minister

Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán hosted former Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar at a working dinner; Mr Aznar's party, the Spanish People's Party is a member of the European People's Party, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Wednesday evening.

In the Carmelite Monastery, Mr Orbán and Mr Aznar had informal talks about Europe's political situation and future, the latest developments in European party politics and Hungarian-Spanish relations, he said.

José María Aznar was Spain's Prime Minister for eight years from 1996.
