GBI Arrests Hart County Paraprofessional in Sexual Assault Investigation

Hart County, GA (April 17, 2024) - The GBI has arrested and charged Keenan Anderson, age 27, of Bowersville, GA, with one count of sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority, two counts of criminal attempt of sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority and one count of Tampering with Evidence.

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the GBI was requested by the Hartwell Police Department (HPD) to assist with a child abuse/molestation investigation that involved an incident that happened while Anderson was employed with the Hart County High School. He has since resigned from the school.

Anderson is currently booked at the Hart County Jail.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
