President Harutyunyan convoked an extended sitting of the government

On April 9, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan chaired an extended sitting of the Government.

Ad initium, the Head of the State presented the latest military-political developments in the republic, indicating subsequently the main tasks that, according to the logic of the situation, should be implemented in the public administration system.

"We are in favor of stable and long-lasting peace, however, we can not bargain for the demand of our people by renouncing the right to self-determination," said the President, adding, that taking into account the new geopolitical realities, a number of changes will be made in the agenda of the government as necessary.

According to the President Harutyunyan, discussions with political forces will soon begin aimed at formulating a common political agenda, based primarily on the risks expected from the external security challenges facing Artsakh.

"The speech is not about forming a coalition government. We all understand that we need a solid internal unity. Hence, I urge all the members of the Government, all the circles of our society to stand behind each other so that we can successfully overcome the problems facing our state and the people," the Head of State underscored.

Arayik Harutyunyan noted that the Government embarks on strict savings of financial resources, which does not mean that the approved programs will not be implemented.

During the sitting, a number of instructions on the discussed issues were given by the President to the responsible officials of the concerned structures.
