Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team Heads to Regionals for First Time

The women of Electric City Scranton Ultimate Frisbee team competed in a conference tournament at Haverford College on Sunday, April 14. For a team that usually competes co-ed, this all-women's tournament provided new and difficult competition.

Previously unranked, the women pulled off a 12-7 upset over Haverford, which is ranked 6th in the nation for Ultimate frisbee. They went on to earn a 3-1 record and an opportunity to advance to regionals. There they will compete for a single spot at nationals.

For the first time in program history, the women's Electric City Scranton Ultimate Frisbee team will compete at the regional level.
